【二年級】低年級的文章寫作跟閱讀

這個禮拜妹妹在學【Main Idea / Detail Sentences / Classification / Causes and Effects】，也在另外提醒四年級的姊姊 main Idea and author’s purpose差異在哪邊。

我從姊妹很小的時候就開始教她們閱讀技巧 跟 把資訊歸類的方法，我雖然不敢說我的文章寫作跟閱讀技巧很好，但是至少考試不會出問題呢! (這個要求好低 哈哈)

甚麼是Main Idea?
Main idea 就是一篇文章的重點，It is the most important thought about the topic.
在一般的文章中，main idea大多都是第一跟第二句話。

我家習慣的閱讀方式。
– 如果是閱讀測驗，我要求孩子要先將題目看過，如果題目在不同頁，請將題目中的key word圈起來。
– 如果只是單純的閱讀，每一句話都會有一個key word or key point，請圈起來。(高年級的時候，我會要求把這些key word or key point寫在另外一張紙上。) 方便之後將資訊歸納

如果妳的key word有畫對，光看key word妳就可以知道整篇文章在講什麼了!

相對的，在寫作的時候，每個句子都必須要有重點要表達的東西。
我會請小朋友重新閱讀自己寫出來的東西，以閱讀的方式，去畫出每一句的重點，在重新看一次，畫出來的東西是不是自己要表達的。

比如說，這是妹妹一年級下學期的時候寫的文章。(好像是一年級下學期，我忘記了。)
我請她圈出來每一句話的重點，光看圈起來的部份，她可不可以知道她想要表達的東西。
如果不行，那我們就重寫。

甚麼是Detail Sentences?
Detail Sentences 就是 sentences that support the main idea.

所以在範例中，good mother 就是了main idea.
Detail Sentences 必須要可以support “good mother”

甚麼是Classification?
我覺得不管是寫作還是生活，Classification都很重要，要懂的分類，才有辦法事半功倍。
我家姊姊是亞斯兒，她對於情緒極不敏感，寫作對她來講是一個很大很大的考驗；我們一起想出了一個辦法，在每一次寫作前，她會畫一個九宮格，把她的想法分類。

這篇文章的structure是完全不對的，我只是想要表達亞斯的孩子在適當的幫助下，
也是可以寫出這樣多形容詞的文章的呢!
(structure對我家老大來講還是太困難了，媽媽還在努力中。)

              Building  Legos,   working  on  computers  and  solving  math  problems  is  what  I  love  to  do.  I  have  always  love  putting  Legos  together  ever  since  I  was  little,  I  still   remember  the  first   time  I  saw  mini  Lego  city  over  at  Legolane,  I  was  amazed  by   how  much  Lego  pieces  that  Lego  builder  have  used  for  the  project.  My  daddy  was  the  one  who  introduce  me  to  the  video  game  and  I  learned  that  coding  is  the  basic  of  video  games.  I  have  tried  few  coding  and  robotic  class  and  I  enjoy  learning  from  my  mistakes  and  making  the  system  better.  Math  has  always  been  my  favorite  subject  in  school.  I  love  read  up  math  problems  and  spend  time  finding  answers.

When  I  was  eight  years  old,  I  found  the  word ”  engineer”  in  the  dictionary  and  I  decide  to  read  up  the  meaning  of  it.  I  want  to  get  to  know  more  about  what  Engineer  does,  so  me  and  my  mom  borrow  lots  of  books  about  Engineer  from  the  library. My  favorite  engineer /   computer  scientist /  programmer  is  Grace  Hopper.  I  would  like  to  follow  her  footsteps  to  Yale  University.

My  mom  have  me  list  the  factor  of  my  dream  job.  I  think  the  most  important   thing  is  doing  what  I  like  but  also  need  to  pays  well.  I  would  like  to  work  close  to  home  or  maybe  work  from  home.  I  don’t   like  doing  the  same  things  over  and  over.  I  enjoy  complete  project  and  helping  people.  Based   on  all  those  factor,  I  believe  my  dream  job  is  become  an  Engineer.

妹妹學習簡單的分類，把看到的資訊分類。
* 拿一本簡單的書，讓小孩把人物、場景、問題、解決的方法分類出來，是一個很棒的學習閱讀 & 分解作文(故事)的方式唷!

甚麼是Causes and Effects?
Causes 就是 Why something happens
Effect 就是What happens as a result

英文寫作並不難，寫出讓人喜歡或著是發笑的內容可能不容易，那個還是需要一些天份的，但是寫出一篇可以通過考試的文章並不困難呢!
