我家老大從來就不是一個可以”自由發揮”寫故事的小朋友，所以在她成長的過程中，我們發明了很多寫作的SOP，當然，都不一定都很正規的，但是她用得很順手也很習慣。
(☞ﾟヮﾟ)☞ 如果沒有一定要用到的單字，那就選一個自己要寫的主題。
(☞ﾟヮﾟ)☞ 如果有一定要用到的單字，我們會先把單字放在白板上，然後找出一個可能的主題。
比如說:
- equivalent having the same amount, value, purpose, qualities, etc.
- painstaking extremely careful and correct, and involving a lot of effort.
- abolish to end an activity or custom officially.
- erode to rub or be rubbed away gradually.
- pardon to forgive someone for something they have said or done.
- absurd stupid and unreasonable, or silly in a humorous way.
- erupt When a volcano erupts, it explodes and flames and rocks come out of it.
- pasture grass or similar plants suitable for animals such as cows and sheep to eat, or an area of land covered in this.
找出單字的關聯性：Pasture – Animal Food – Shepherd – Fight – Erupted – Wool Company – Absurd – Apologize – Pardon – Forgive – Wind and Rain – Erode – Dog Fighting – Abolish – Painstaking – Research – Evidence – Covering up – Equivalent – lying.
這些找出來的關聯字，並不一定會出現在故事中，比較多是使用在聯想的協助。
你也可以畫圖、畫格子、怎樣歸整你的idea都好。
但是我家老大覺得眼睛看到的歸整比在腦袋裡面歸整來的容易，所以她一般都需要寫在白板上，然後盯著看半天。
(1) Choose a topic for your writing.
經由上面單字的聯想，我們選了 “Two Shepherds finding dog fight evidence.”。
(2) Choose a setting for your writing.
農場 (山坡) – The sheep were grazing on the lush green pastures.
(3) Plot – What happens in a story.
發現狗打架的證據 → 合作找證據
Dog Fighting Evidence → Work Together
(4) Complications – problem or dilemma.
A fight has erupted between two Shepherd .
It took months of painstaking research to find out the true, and gather all the evidence.

(6) Antagonist
Dog Fight Business Owner
姊姊通常會花很多時間去決定上面這些內容，然後才開始編排Paragraph。
姊姊會拿三張紙 或 在電腦上開三個檔案，一個是The Beginning 一個是The Middle 一個是The End，不管我們多常寫故事，姊姊還是會把每一個Paragraph的規則放在頁面上，她說這樣她在寫故事的時候才可以提醒自己不要歪樓。
Topic Sentence – the beginning – ONE idea – Most important information first.
Supporting Sentences – the middle – Elaborates and explains the idea introduced in the topic sentence
Concluding Sentence – the end – back to the main idea of the paragraph.
然後姊姊會先寫一篇草稿，把要用的單字、安排好的劇情或著是想要用的句子，先分別丟進去 “the beginning” “the middle” ” the end”。
接著，大聲地唸出來，像拼圖一下慢慢把句子或單字連在一起。

Wind and rain have eroded our animal statues into shapeless lumps of stones.” thought Shepherd Kevin while walking in the valley to check on the degree of weathering. He noticed an object shining in the bush not far away from the trail, as well as some other odd items along the way. “This is absurd, It must be from Shepherd Dave, he is such a messy person.” Shepherd Kevin grumbled.
“I beg your pardon! I did not do such things!” Shepherd Dave walk up from opposite of the trail and shouted. A fight erupted between two Shepherds.
“Wait! if is not you, then it must be from someone else trespassing the valley.” Shepherd Kevin said.
Shepherd Dave picked up the shiny looking object, and he observed it carefully. “Oh my, I think this is a dog tag, or part of dog leash.”
Shepherd Kevin lean over and take a closer look. ” Oh boy, I think you are right, but how can it be this tattered?”
“You think there is wild animal in the valley?” Shepherd Kevin asked.
“No, my sheep were grazing on the lush green pastures just fine, if there is any wild animal near by, they would be skittish ” said the Shepherd Dave, and suddenly he thought of an impossible…..”Would these items be the remains of a dogfighting ring?”‘
“Please don’t” thought the Shepherd Kevin with horrified face.
Despite how much they disliked each other, they decided to work together to get to bottom of this terrifying mystery. It took months of painstaking research to find out the truth and gather all the evidence.
“I think dog fighting should be abolished.” Shepherd Kevin said with great irate, after they reported all the evidence to the police.
Base on the evidence, the police were able to put dog fighting business owner to jail. “I think that covering up the facts is equivalent to lying really.” says Shepherd Dave.
“Well…. The owner will be in jail for a very long time because of his actions.” Shepard Kevin sighed.
“Look at this way,” he said confidently. “We saved a few hundred dogs today, and the owner’s bad karma finally caught up with him!”
第一版的草稿出來之後，姊姊會在大聲的唸出來一次，這一次錄音。
然後放出來自己聽一次，如果有聽到自己覺得不順的地方再次進行修改。
最後按照檢查清單一一核對。
(1) Use descriptive words. (姊姊的草稿中常常會忘記這個部分，所以最後順的時候就會補上。)
(2) Use transitions and linking expressions. (這個部分姊姊還OK。)
(3) Use a variety of sentence structures.
(4) Elaborate with facts and details.
(5) Group your ideas into paragraphs.
(6) Proofread for capitalization, punctuation, and spelling. (姊姊很常會忘記大寫，所以最後一次的檢查很重要呢!)
最後、最後、最後…..功課要交之前，再做最後一次的確認。
(1) Double-spaced lines of text. (set in a word processor as 24-point or 20-point line spacing)
(2) Paragraph indentation of 0.5 inches.
搭啦! 以上就是我家七年級的姊姊寫故事的SOP，或許不是最正確的，或許沒有一般”自由發揮”的孩子寫的有趣，可是對於我家姊姊來說，這些練習讓她不害怕寫故事呢!
