補充說明：Infrared radiation is a type of electromagnetic radiation, as are radio waves, ultraviolet radiation, X-rays and microwaves. Infrared (IR) light is the part of the EM spectrum that people encounter most in everyday life, although much of it goes unnoticed. It is invisible to human eyes, but people can feel it as heat.
What can I do to help prevent the greenhouse effect?
(1) I can plant more tree.
(2) And I can turn off lights.
(3) And I can recycle.
(4) Use more public transportation and walk (or bike).

拿一個玻璃罐(杯)，放一片活的葉子進去，放在太陽底下，幾個小時後在去看看。
如果能夠減少垃圾當然是最好的，但是在不能減少垃圾的情況下，廢物利用就變成很重要的功課了呢!
廢物利用：
警示牌 (這個在我家用了好多好多年，一直到牆壁漏水弄濕了才丟掉。)
在美國很多寶寶衣服都是用盒子包裝的，一件衣服一個盒子，雖然送禮物很漂亮，但是超級不環保。
芭比傢俱 (除了現有的之外，剩下的傢俱都是我跟孩子們利用家中的垃圾加工的。)
