Mapping the story (1.2年級)

Setting → Characters → Problem → Solution

Setting:The setting of a story tells when or where it is happening.
Characters:The people or animals in a story are called characters.
Problem:To make a story exciting, one of the characters often runs into a problem.
Solution:At the end if a story, the problem is usually solved. This is called the solution.

【Setting】練習寫,look at the picture,describe the setting.

It was a hot morning in the farm. (可以從生活照中找一些場景出來,讓孩子練習形容。)

It was a foggy day in the downtown Brea.

【Characters】練習寫,要記得給角色名字喔!

【Problem】練習寫,想想看每一個角色會碰到哪些問題呢?

Carissa could not wait to bit into her apple.
Problem → but there is a worm.

Chaz smacked the baseball into the air.
Problem → and hitting the window.

【Solution】練習寫,write an ending solution for each.

Cammy and her dog, Spot, were best friends. They went everywhere together. At bedtime, Cammy whistled for Spot to jump in her bed. One winter night, Cammy whistled and whistled, but Spot did not come.

Solution → Cammy come to realize, that she forgot to leave the door open . She quickly jump out the bed to open the door for Spot.

 

*不是每個孩子都有”說故事”的能力,但是有一些小訣竅可以協助,我家姊姊不是一個很有想像力的孩子,我整理好寫作的規範,讓她帶入適合的內文,這樣哪怕不精彩,也不會出太大的錯誤呢!

 

我們選了三隻小豬的故事來練習Mapping (網路照片)
(突然一下找不到我家的上課記錄,所以只好用網路上找到相關的照片啦!)

念完故事書之後,請小朋友把Characters / Setting / Problem / Solution找出來,再看看新學到的單字跟【我們從故事中學到了些甚麼】。

 

再來練習另外一個故事的Mapping – 小紅帽 (網路照片)
